Commencement of gas and energy suppliesand energy to PEC Siedlce
The project is worth PLN 65 million and additionally includes cooling installations, an energy storage facility and a heating station. As the sole supplier of gas to PEC Siedlce, the largest local government heating plant in Poland, we play a key role not only in gas supply, but also in developing purchasing strategies.
Our cooperation has already resulted in 10% savings on gas prices, which is an important contribution to efficient resource management. Gas demand is approximately 800 GWh, and the value of the annual contract is approximately PLN 140 million. We provide comprehensive gas and energy supply services, as well as energy collection and sales on the Polish Power Exchange.
On the occasion of the opening, among the most outstanding experts in the heating sector from Poland, we discussed future models of operation of heat and power plants. Our plan for the development of cooperation covers an increasingly wider range of areas, including low-emission technologies, the supply of green gas, heat pumps and the digitization of services. This is consistent with the expected changes in the management model of municipal heat and power plants, which will be directed towards decentralization of heat production and distribution. In this dynamic process, Boryszew Green Energy and Gas will have the opportunity to provide new, innovative technological services, which can bring many benefits to both our customers and the environment.
