Price of POLPX Y-23 contract vs. aid price in Germany converted to PLN

In the spring of 2023. The German federal government has prepared three comprehensive aid packages totaling 95 billion euros and established a shield of 200 billion.
As of January 2023. The temporary halt in gas prices should also help the industry. The price for blue fuel has been frozen at 70 Euro/MWh (328 PLN/MWh) for industrial customers. This means that the difference in Poland’s forward gas contracts for 2023 and the real price of obtaining gas by German consumers is as much as 50% higher (Poland’s TGE – 650 PLN/MWh).
